Deej Documentary Screening [Inspiring Family Leaders Through Film]

The Western MA Family Leadership Program is hosting “Inspiring Family Leaders Through Film,” a series of documentaries highlighting key disability topics. The goals of this series are to provide families with inspiration, encourage conversation, support community connection, and raise awareness about family leadership.

The next installment of the Series will feature the documentary “Deej,” which follows the journey of a young man with ASD who is non-verbal, found a loving home after years in foster care, and dreams of going to college. DJ (Deej) Savarese will be joining us after the film for a Q&A and share his thoughts about inclusion in educational settings.
