Inside this Update
The latest Advocacy & Family Leadership Community Update from MassFamilies includes information below (and more!)
Statement from MassFamilies on National Family Caregivers Month
November is National Family Caregivers Month, and our statewide network of parent and family leaders and self-advocates honors the parents, siblings, grandparents, spouses, adult children, and chosen family who provide care and support every day, often with little recognition and even less rest….
FASD Advocacy Day 2026
Metro Family Leadership is co-sponsoring and advocating for a day at the statehouse to support H.2538, an act that establishes a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Program. We are working with Massachusetts Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD), a program of the Institute for Health and Recovery funded by the Department of Public Health’s Bureau of Substance Addiction Services, and an affiliate of FASD United, a national organization advancing FASD awareness and advocacy.
